Congratulations on great presentations at the geography fair last week!! The displays and presentations were well done. Rejoice in having completed this big project.
The quarter ends this week. Be sure to check the calendar for the latest on tests and finishing projects.
In science, we have started a new unit on light. We will be working on this fairly quickly as we still have a few other topics we want to cover before the end of the year.
Our study of world history will get back on track now that we have finished the geography fair. We are finishing up a study of England & Ireland and then will move on to the Vikings. Be sure to ask your son or daughter about the building of a model of a Viking ship.
As always, be sure to e-mail or call with any questions or concerns.
Have a blessed Easter celebration!!!!
Mrs. Jahnke
We have just finished our chapter on sound. That of course means we are headed for a test.
The chapter 15 test will be Tuesday, March 4th. Students received a study guide today which can be filled out and turned in for extra credit. In addition, they can read through all the notes and worksheets that have been done for the chapter. We reviewed today and will continue that review on Monday.
The next chapter is on light. Hopefully we will be "brighter" when we finish chapter 16.
If you have any questions, call or e-mail Mrs. Jahnke.
The end is in sight!!
Tuesday, March 4th is the big day for students to have the paper, presentation board, and all visual aides at school. We have worked 3 days in school this week on the project and hopefully they are nearing completion. Wednesday will be spent practicing presentations in class.
The evening of Thursday, March 6th will begin with PTL hosting supper from 6 to 7. The students will need to be neatly dressed, at their display boards and talking with visitors by 6:30. That means if your son or daughter wants to eat at school, they need to be done by 6:30. At 7:45 we will gather on the bleachers for a short presentation. Students will then be free to clean up and take their materials home with them.
If you have any questions, please call or e-mail Mrs. Jahnke.
Have a great week and enjoy pulling all that hard work together into a finished product!!!
Please keep checking the calendar for all the latest on daily happenings!!
